Thoughts? Predictions?

We played tough in game 3 but they still put the heat on us. I think we finally figured out how to play these guys. Once we started controlling the pace of the game they clammed up a little.

My thoughts are Pens take game 4 5-2

I think the Pens will win game 4 as welll..... hopefully take some momentum back to Detroit and maybe steal one from them on their ice.... I don't think it'll be that high scoring, but i think we'll win.....

I'm hoping we can just pressure their defense a little bit again.... force them to make mistakes.... I keep reading online on these espn.com forums about people complaining that we scored our goals off of sloppy play and it wont happen again.... That's exactly how detroit has scored.... you force the other team to make a mistake and then capitalize.... Lets hope!

it's all aout politics and money.... they already know who's gonna win, its just about gettin everyone to watch the game to make the network's pockets bigger.

If this were Basketball or Football, I could better agree. I find it harder to believe hockey is easily staged.

Agreed, that is one game that is not fixed, to many variables. If we win this game and the next one in Det. I think we have it, still a nasty team we are playing there, always gonna be knipping at out heels for sure!!

i still think most sports are fixed. but i really dont give a crap if they win of lose, hockey to me is GAY

it is the one sport i just cant get into.. but everyone has there own way and opinions.

so i guess i'll say goodluck for the pens (for everyone that likes hockey)

I felt the same way before cause I didnt know anything about it. It's a great game, more complicated than you would think. I like it because of how physically demanding it is, yes even more than football, but like you said to each their own.:goodidea:

We now know that Osgood is just good - not great. If we play our best hockey we can beat this team - but it's hard to play at that high of a level every game.

We HAVE to win game 4 or it is basically over. And if that happens, we need game 5, because I don't like our chances having must-win games at home in game 6 and especially in Detriot in game 7.

If we win the cup, I think it will have to be in 6 games, where we end it at home. Any other scenario to me seems like the deck is stacked against us.

And will someone slap Malkin out of his current funk!!!!! C'MON!!!! :bitchslap:

+ 1....I heard there was 5000 outside the arena last game, I can only imagine it will be more since it's saturday, gotta be insane out there......and in there!:pepper:

im goin with the pens too. malkin started turnin it around last game, had some good chances, i think he'll end up on the board tonight.
as for osgood, hes a bum. if we can start pepperin him, i think he'll fall apart.
also, if we do come out on top this game i think we HAVE to win game 5. it'll just be a monsterous task to win a game 7 in detriot.

JESUS! WTF MALKIN! I have compiled a list as to why Malkin is not playing his top game:

1. Mami and papi had to go back to Russia on a temporary visa, and hes pissed that they arent there.

2. Sid is back in gear and he misses the spotlight he had when Sid was hurt.

3. Possibly he overheard or heard that somehow he might be traded next year, probably not, but its possible.

4. He's a terrorist.

I'm a diehard Pens fan, but there is no way they're gonna win 3 straight against this team. Detroit has all-around better players. Its painfully evident watching the game. Pens dump and run way too much. As soon as a Penguin crossing center ice with the puck he gets attacked by no less than 2 Redwings. When we do get it across their blue line, the Pens WON'T FREAKIN' SHOOT!! We had a 5 on 3 and they actually had a good scoring chance, WTF?!? We passed it around for minimum 20 seconds during one stretch!! Pathetic. I don't even plan on watching the LAST game.

I def will still watch, but without sounding like a total "black and gold glasses" jerk...im still extreamly proud of the pens. The effort is there, but the better team is going to end up winning this series. The redwings do what they do better, period. While I agree wthat the pens look lost at times, I think the puck pressure that the redwings apply has alot to do with the pens looking confused. They have gotten good chances, but are getting no production from anyone other than Crosbys line. Look who is scoring for the redwings, they are getting timely goals from other guys who are stepping up to produce.

bottom line is this is making the pens a stronger team, think about how many players are gonna have playoff + stanley cup final experience under thier belt all while being so young, pens are going to be a force next year for sure and I'm proud of them for going as far as they did, we are playing an awesome team, next year that awesome team might be us.

Yeah but it doesnt bother me like it does you.:awsome: Det's playing better hockey, they deserve the cup. One more thing is I know this cup experience will only add to the ass whopping philly will recieve next year!:woot1:
