I got a 2001 GT heres what the tag says on the transmission i need to know what tranny i have, thanks for any help, YR38 7003 M2001

idk about those numbers... but i'm pretty sure you'd have a T45 or Tremec 3650?? the TRE leads me to believe it is the tremec put in GTs in mid 01 but also used T45s til 04. so iguess thats no help :haha: :dunno:

when i get home tonight ill check my haynes manual....coud be some help.
Early or late '01. 2001 was a change up year. Windsor to Romeo motors. Same with Trans, T-45 then over to 3650 mid year. Ford hasn't used a T45 in a mustang since mid 2001.

they changed trannys halfway through the 2001 model year.... i think you can figure it out by your vin number or door tag....best bet is to google it lol

grrrr this sucks i got a T-45 i guess thats bad...anyone got a used steeda for it? or will a steeda out of the old T-5's fit in from like a 1994-1995?

you mean shifter? t-5 and t-45 shifters are the same im pretty sure

yea, i wanna put a tri-ax in it, and i got a bbk catted x-pipe,just need a flowmaster catback and my mods are done for a good while
