I am looking for a new place to buy firearms, specifically handguns.
Can anyone recommend a place with good selection and prices local to Pittsburgh?
Thanks in advance!

The above mentioned places are OK for new guns. Sportsman's Warehouse on Camp Horne Road off 279 has very good prices and services. Firearms Unlimited in Bridgeville is a small, privately owned store with outstanding prices and selection (you may need an appointment now to shop there, if you're going call em first). I bought a really tough to find rifle from them a few years ago and they gave me an unbelievable price (they could've raped me- I couldn't find this gun anywhere at the time).
For used guns: Can't really beat Braverman Arms Co. on Penn Avenue in Wilkinsburg for used handguns. Allegheny River Arsenal in Verona is my personal favorite for "collector" guns and has gotten more of my business then any other gun shop around.

any of the above mentioned places happen to have a decent AR-15 selection, really made up my mind on them.

No problem. Make sure you post a shooting report after you buy one!
