98GT and RX8 kill

The other day I'm on my way back to greensburg/new alex on 66 from LMM in my 86 and a kid in a red 98GT with bullitt rims pulls up and drops her into third. I figured what the hell so i put it in second, cuz i still have the stock gears and at 45 its perfect RPM. We go on three and I snapped on a 1-2 car length lead and kept it there. He got off at the next exit, but it was fun while it lasted.

Then I get off and jump on 22 towards BP and 819 and a yellow RX8 did the classic "ricer flyby" but got stopped at the light ahead. I pulled up to the light beside him and its some rich lookin dude with his wife/girlfriend in the passenger seat. She looks over when he revs and laughs so i got pissed. When the lights dropped we both took off. i spun real bad and he didn't, but it was still a close start. By 85 i had him by 2-3 lengths. At the next light his wife was yelling at him and you could tell she was pissed cuz she kept looking straight ahead then over at him yelling. HAHA. Another fun trip to and from LMM, can't wait for my Mac CAI to get here :rolleyes:

I used to cruise rt30 all the time, but, quit cause nobody was ever around. Does anybody still hangout in the eat-n-park lot across from tacobell in norwin anymore? I always like to check out the local iron and hang out.

Nope wasnt me, the only thing i raced this year was a cadillac DTS and an S2000 but i'd be happy to run ya sometime :)

hey the polyurethane motor mounts on your 98 did they help any?, i have a problem with the exhaust rubbing the body on my car when i floor it in 1st and 2nd

thats the problem that i had. And it helped alot but i still get the occasional rub on uneven roads (like doing burnouts in my driveway) lol

Wheres the action this weekend? If no rain the car will be out, just installed new exhaust.............shhhhhhhh........its very quiet. 1 3/4 headers into 3" X, 3" two chamber muffs, need to put some miles on. Let me know.

i was gonna do some more stuff to it if i cant sell it, i almost traded it for a new ford escape a couple days ago, they gave me a smokin good deal on it, I told them i'd take it and they had it all ready to go, papers ready to sign and everything and i turned it down, lol
