computer problems???????????

i have 2000 gt, 5speed, can anyone tell me how to reset the theft, or why when i crank over the engine, as soon as it fires the injectors stay wide open and don't close till i turn of the key??? the ecu was out off the car for 2 years, but i don't think that would kill it or whatever, i have already checked every pin out coming in to the ecu and everything in doing what its supposed to be doing, someone please chime in, this is driving me crazy

All the injectors?....and do they come on with just the key on?

If it was the theft or pats the car wouldn't even start and the theft light would flash fast as you try to start the car. Sounds like the computer may be toast of it some other problem like crank postion sensor. An easy check would be to put a JRXO computer in and install a chip with the pats disabled so you can see if it runs.

yes all injectors, and they only come on when the engine first FIRES, not when the key is turned on or when cranking starts but when it fires.

i got it, the theft was reset and everything is ok...
