Time to get back to work on this. Been since early November. So parts inbound for the transmission. Marks thread swayed me to stay with 3650. My last big hurdle other than getting car tuned once together. Not going to do the gear set at this time. I am upgrading everything I possibly can. Stan at Pro-Force was good to deal with and quick to answer my questions.

05-10 26spline input shaft, adapter plate, bearing retainer, shim kit. Few other thing I need to order. Need to find a good price on a Quick Time bell. Think I may stick to a Spec 2+ clutch as it did great and last one held up for 7 years.

Call Bob Hanlon for the bell. 610.469.2695
He sold it to me for an amazing price. Generally nice guy to deal with, too.

Couple parts came today. Slightly annoyed that adapter plate looks to have been bolted up before. Only scratches and such but I really hate buying parts to only find out they are not "new". When I expect it to be new.

I agree, I figure it would be pristine. Make sure the cluster shaft spins freely in the adapter plate. Mine drug, and I had to have my buddy add chamfer to the bearing hole.

Don't want the bearing hole too big..........that only leads to problems. Never want an oversize bearing hole. Uh, the stories you hear about big bearing holes. Terrible.

There is a chamfer already there but I will check that once I start digging into one of my 3650's.

Still trying to figure which to use. Was thinking the original but it needs rebuilt. I messed it up back in summer of '07. One I currently use. I picked up then, was rebuilt already and has been flawless with high rpm shifts. I have no idea what was done to it inside.

When you get the gforce gear set try to spin the shaft when seated in it. I passed the info on to Bob Hanlon, so hopefully he made the adjustments already.
