    Ok,
So my kids want one, but I know nothing about them. Can someone educate me on what the good and bad parts are about these? Whats the difference between the normal and Lite? Are these things really any good? Whats the hot games?
Oh yeah....what games can I buy for them so I can play it while they are in bed....heh!:p

Anyone got a used one for sale?

My daughter has one. They are pretty cool. A little more interactive than the gameboys, etc., with the touch screen. There are lotsa games for them.

You probably wouldnt be disappointed if you got one ;)

I bit the bullet and bought one for my older daughter about a year ago. Got a great deal at Sams Club... don't forget to check places like that. Now my younger daughter has one too... they play together a lot.

You can buy one game cartridge and the other kid connects wirelessly and downloads the game to the other DS's memory so that they can play together. All-in-all, a very good game system.

In fact, we just got back right at this very moment from Gamestop where we found a good used game that they wanted for $12.99. Don't forget to check for used games at places like that.

Your kids will love the DS(s). Good luck.

I got one for christmas so I could play with two friends on a trip to and from Japan in March. Good little system. First handheld system I've really played since original Gameboy/Sega Game Gear and the graphics (as could be expected) have gotten ridiculously better. There's a big catalog of games and they are relatively inexpensive. As mentioned, they have wi-fi capability, which is great if more than one person has the system. Also, there is no real difference between "regular" and DS Lite... the DS Lite is the newest model and is more compact/more up to date with their software.
