    Next project

Been chasing some random traction issues this year. Decided to bite the bullet and do a little more upgrades.................

The parts pictured are Kevin Slaby's Baseline Suspension set-up. I hope to have it installed for the July 3rd UMTR race at Thompson as long as things go to plan (yeah right).

Also FYI - I bought the Maximum Motorsports tool to pull the upper housing bushings on an 8.8. If anyone ever needs to do that job give me a yell. The tool works slicker than snot.

Yes, sort of. Moves the upper mounts up and forward to correct the instant center. Upper control arms will now point down. Adjustable uppers to set pinion angle (duh). I don't have near enough in my car right now. Set-up is designed pretty much neutral for anti-squat. I think this is what I have been chasing. The car launches okay, but then unlaods the tires after it moves a few feet.

We will see how it works. A friend of mine from NC has a very similar engine / trans / gearing combo to mine, he 60's 1.62 on drag radials while I'm stuck in the 1.70 range on ET streets. I dont expect that much of an improvement, but if it will hook the same every time, it would make me happy ;)

I'll keep you up to date on how it works Ed. If answering questions is any indication, Kevin is incredible. It was worth what I paid just for info he has given to me so far.

Nice kit, I installed one for a customer a while ago. The only thing I don't like is the track locater which it looks like you didn't get

I have Kevin's Pro-launch #2 kit in my 94 And I really like it. Kevin's customer service is very good! He will answer any and all questions you have and he is very knowledgable about suspension setups.

Installed this kit tonight and put the base set-up on it. The Maximum Motorsports tool for removing the housing bushings was worth every penny, they slid right on out :D Kit installed pretty easy, no real issues, just need to follwo the instructions and sequesnce for tightening everything. Put 2 1/2 degrees of pinion angle in it to start, wil ladjust from there if needed. Did this in my buddies garage, so only drove it home, but I'm happy so far. Car seems to ride better than with the other uppers.

TnT tomorrow night, we will see what it does on a greasy track :D
