I think we still have the track open until about Dec 15th or 17th. But, the weather here could be just about anything from slushy to dry, and from steamy to cold. So, we just set around and wait... then, if the weather smiles, AND if the track is open, it is time ta race.

So you will understand, she pulls like a dual-quad 427 cammer !! Hhhmm, I guess the HP is actually more. Seems a 2x4 427 Cammer = 657 HP at the crank; Ratt I = 653 HP at the wheels !
BTW, I don't remember seeing any pics of the '66 428 Galaxie. Long ago I had a '66 7-Litre with the 428 and 4 spd - heavy, but very torquey !
And, about the '54 -- it has a 272 vs a 239 ??

Thanks, guys ! I actually took off the very loud Warlock mufflers that I was running and put on some Borla Turbos, mainly to help get the state inspection done a few weeks ago. I was afraid they would hinder the performance a bit, because the 1st 9.89 was with the Warlocks un-corked, but I reckon teh quietre Borlas will be OK !
