I know i did my share of dumb and retarded things that involved a car or truck or a 4-wheeler but as ive grown older i look back on that situation and think...wow....im glad nothing bad happened to me or my friends or ne one else that was an innocent bystander. its easy to sit back and criticize what we did and others are doing now but thats because we know better or think we know better. Look at it this way"everyone of us had to learn from mistakes." we just happened to live through ours but those young boys werent so lucky. No one could tell us to not do sumthing. that just made it even more rewarding or fuel on the fire to try it....im not downing those two ppl....or ED...my thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends. RIP.
I totally agree. For anyone to make such rediculous comments about two people they don't even know ought to be ashamed of themself. Nobody makes good decisions all the time. It doesn't matter if you street race, drag race, or if your just speeding on your way to work. Sometimes bad things just happen and we all should use this as a reality check to step back and look at the careless things we do and try to be a little more safe.

Street racing is bad I AGREE. I however have and will continue to street race every now and again. You just need to be ready to pay the consequences when and if something goes wrong. And it may. I feel terrible for the families of the deceased. I hope time will heal there pain and loss. Unfortunatly we have know control over when our time is up on this earth. The Lord new that this was gonna happen to them just like he knows when my time will be up also.

Thoughts and prayers to the families.

I've seen the silver audi A4 at school a few times. Oddly enough, my buddy lives on the road where they wrecked (route 130). I picked him up and we went down to a bar for a while. Came back and the road was closed off. I did see the accident site in person the next day. Kid damn well had to be going atleast 90mph. Trees were completely bare to about 6 feet up. Def gives you chills seeing it. And yellowstang, I'm sorry to hear about Rick's daughter. My prayers are def with them. He is an outstanding guy, and does great work (obviously). I heard about her accident today.

yes they both attended UPG. Both going to be freshman this year. Dangerous area to speed at. Theres been more accidents than you'd think on that road. Cops were watching it for a while but havn't really recently. I'm sure this recent accident will change that again.

I'm sure we all have made comments about people in auto and non-auto related incidents also when we didn't know the exact story as well.

No, I was just making a generalization about the situation on a whole.

Sorry to hear about the loss of 2 young car enthusiasts. I know I made several bad decisions behind the wheel when I was younger. Sometimes you get lucky when you make a mistake and sometimes you don't. It's a shame they don't have a second chance.

first off, RIP to the two young kids who lost their lives.

I agree the kill section should go. Its stupid that everyday there is threads about kills and then threads about those who got killed. We bitch all the time to take it to the track but people don't seem to think that pertains to them. Whether you think no one is on the road or not its not safe. What does it take? Does one of our members have to die before it hits home? cause I've seen it on other forums.

of course I also believe there is a way to say it...

Sorry to hear of the two dieing.

It takes a death or two to want to get rid of this section. Yet when no deaths occur we rave about the kill's we get raceing on the streets. It is part of car building history. Sure it would be great to take all races to the track. We all know the chances we take raceing on the street. I prefer to go to certain places.(Has lots of history) I say let the section alone. If you don't like it don't read it but, you know you will read it.

i agree, half of you (not ALL of you) comment in that thread anyway then come in this one and say how bad it is. Im not saying that street racing is the right thing to do by any means but you cant say that you dont agree with it then go in that thread and say oh good kill.
