I moved up here from Texas, and I almost have the car together. What drag strips are close by? I live in Shadyside, Ohio, about an hour or southwest of Pittsburgh.
Also, can anyone recommed a chasis shop? I need the car lined out. I put in a tubular k-member, and I want the the rear squared in the chasis and pinion angle set as well.
Quaker city would be best for you I think....

Anybody ever been to Friendship Park? Its 1/8 mile, in Smithfield just south of Steubenville. I've heard of them, but haven't made it out there yet. I'm probably stuck with 1/8th mile right now anyhow, since I don't have a cage in my car yet, and I would get kicked out of any 1/4 mile track. Hopefully next spring I'll be able to afford it.

Don't know yet. Haven't had the new combo to the track yet. I had a NA 351w with a TKO that ran 7.52 @ 94mph 1.62 60' with et streets. Now have a 420w with bigger heads, cam, carb, exhaust, C4 with a 4000 stall converter.
Steel Valley (ie Friendship Park) is a good place, nice friendly people.

The last I was out there they didn't have lighting so all running is during daylight.
Do a search on IHRA and NHRA for track locations too.
