    fixed ^^^

I'm not interested either, but I couldn't stay away from this fun.

I drive my car twice a month, get drunk on the weekends and smoke old ladies in Chevy Malibus at every stop light. STFU.

oh my god my eyes just watered up from laughing!!

hummer is a mega bracket racing king. too slow to get affected by anything... although it goes through gas quick enough... after a few runs I might need to start drilling for oil

I haven't run my Focus since the turbo, so I'd like to get more than 4 or 5 runs in like on a T&T day.
I'm not used to racing a FWD, so the more runs I can get the better.

LOL! I have probably been racing for more years than you have been on earth. My last 6 runs at PRP are all within 1/4-1/2 a tenth of each other. Not bad for a high HP manual trans car with a driver that might race once or twice a year now.

I never said that I think that it's hard or easy for that matter. What I said was that it is easy with a slow consistent automatic car.

This thread is made to see how many people want to do a rental. Don't post in it if you don't want to attend.

If you just want to come here to argue you will have a lot more time off to practice your bracket racing.

Take a hint or take a vacation. Your choice.

I'd be interested. I really need to learn how to launch my car since I did the T5 swap. Went from an Aod and street tires to T5 and drag radials. I could use all the seat time I can get.

updated the list. Why can't I edit my first post? that would be pretty useful for something like this...

I'm just trying to get a guestimate for how many people and who would want to go. We have the ford night on july 20th coming up, so I think it would be best to have a rental after that. It also might be better if we do it when the weather is cooling down, but still before the college guys have to go back to college (I don't even know if that would affect anybody, but I'm just trying to think ahead.)

As far as a time frame, when would be the best time? late august/early september when the weather gets cooler again?

Yes, I just spoke with Frank & he said that we'd have access to everything more or less. Ambulance, insurance, all that stuff.

I'm going to have him fax me over the pricing sheet either tonight or tomorrow.... but it sounds like it'll *probably* be somewhere around $100 per car, and it isn't really all that dependent on the number of cars from what I understood. I didn't ask him how long the rental would last or if there are different rates on different days, etc. Hopefully I'll get that soon and I'll relay all of the information back to this thread.

I will tell ya what, i will bring my moms ford taurus up tehre and run 14s all day long so when you go home you can say you lost to a 14 sec car.. Just man up and say your car is slow and bracket racing is an excuse to say you cant make yours go faster..

It should be a set price that we split up by the amount of people that we get and pay that amount.

I can tell you that if it's more than $40-50 you won't get anyone. Paying $100 is way too much.

You need to find this out for sure first.
