1967 Mercury Marquis – 2 door

Posting for a buddy. Car is located 30 min northwest of Columbus, OH. (3.5 hours from PGH)

Body: Original Steel, some previous rust repair in front of rear wheels, has some rust bubbles under the vinyl roof, overall I would classify it as a 5-footer

Frame, suspension, and brakes are very solid

Interior is black and very nice…bench seat

Stock cool equipment that still works:
High beam dimmer
6 way power split bench seat (driver and passenger side power)

Stock cool non functioning equipment: but could be fixed easily
Power Locks (vacuum)
Remote Trunk Release (vacuum)

Car has run 14.3 @ 98mph on street tires which isn’t too bad for a 4000lb car and a stock stall convertor.

As you can imagine this car gets tons of looks and compliments every time he takes it out. Only reason he is selling is because he needs the garage space to redo his 66 F250. The starter just went out in the car (remanned unit, needs new bendix) and that was the last straw. He has a good working original starter to go with the car. It will start, run, and drive anywhere you want it…

Price is $4,800 OBO (there is more than that in the engine and tranny)

PM me for his phone number if you are serious. If you like looking at pictures of other people’s cars for sale and you’re not looking to buy, don’t pm me.
