    You might want to think about porting that lower and running the box upper. I have had those same heads since 2005 and the boxed upper made a huge difference.

    Def super nice stuff, but that inake must be pretty heavy to crush a can like that..LOL

    SWEET! Congrats buddy! Those flow numbers and pictures look great. I thought you were doing the TF185 CNC, not the the 205's, but that's even better that you are as that car is going to freaking FLY with them on there. Those ports look HUGE too, especially the exhaust port. What gasket will you use with them?

    I'm going to clean up all of the casting flash and smooth everything over real nice and then post after pics. This is the TFS "R" intake w/ the 90mm opening not the track heat or street intake. The powerband is suppose to be 3000-7750 rpm. I'll be shifting this badboy at 7g's!

    It's a mexican block w/ a probe girdle and a fully forged probe rotating assembly. It should hold up to about 700 rwhp and 7000 rpm pretty easily.

    TEA calls for the standard Fel-Pro 1415 so thats what I got. I'm very happy with the #'s as standard Twisted Wedges that receive this cnc job aren't suppose to flow quite as well as the out of the box 205's as they use a different casting for it. But I exceeded their claimed #'s by a little and i'm very happy. This will be more than enough head to feed my little 347....

    I was running that same "R" upper and it did not pull that high at all. We did an intake test at the dyno on Joe's car running a Track Heat, a Holley Systemax, and the TFS "R" intake with both the long runner upper like you have and the box upper. The box upper made the most peak power but the Holley made the most average power and even pulled higher than the long runner "R" upper. Suprisingly the box upper on the "R" lower even made more torque that the "R" long runner upper.

    If you want to borrow the box upper when you go to get your dyno tune to compare it you are welcome to try it out.

    Wow those are some good looking heads, and very nice flow numbers. I wish the sohc's had aftermarket heads to choose from.

    Supposedly an aftermarket 4.6 SOHC is coming to market, Edelbrock or TFS I believe.

    TEA (Brian) has ported two sets of heads & repaired my trashed TW head after dropping a valve. Their work has always been good & priced fairly.

    The heads look great. I'd like to step up to the 205's fron my current 185's TW smetie in the future.

    I'm hoping for around 650 rwhp with the whole new setup.
    I'm still running the stock longblock + a Camshaft Innovations cam w/ the Vortech and trying to get this pig into the 10's. A little cooler weather and I should easily have it.
