    HELP!!! so I stripped a stud in the manifold!

    So what do I do now.. My dumb a$$ stripped the right side where the midpipe connects... Is it now time to buy headers?? Will I need a new midpipe... Have a UPR o/r X-pipe coming in the mail...
    2004 Mustang GT 40th Convertible

    UPR O/R X-pipe
    31 Spline Moser axles/Carrier w/carbon clutches, 4.10 FRPP gears
    Kenne Bell 1.7L Tune by Jon Lund @ Wolfpack
    377 hp 404 tq -still needs some work!

    You can unthread that stud out of the manifold and replace it.

    are you talking on your exhaust manifold? if its the stud...you can heat it up and spin it out.

    Do you have to remove the manifold to do this or should I just let a shop do it... I learn very quick but am a little worried on this one...

    no leave it on the car just be careful to not heat up any wiring or anything. its really an easy fix....

    its a common thing i broke 2 on mine when i had the manifolds on it...but i put long tubes over winter.
