Alright time for an update... got a bit more done today. installed crankshaft, rear main seal, and all pistons/connecting rods except one cause i need a new frickin oil ring, which p!sses me off greatly. found that it was ruined when i first took apart the shortblock last week. ill probably be going out to summit this weekend to get the new ring.

Was very time consuming today because i cleaned everything REALLY well to make sure there was as little dirt as possible between caps/bearings/journals and on the cylinder walls.

anyways, plastigauge showed that clearances are good, and everything spins nice and easily. so far everything seems good.

haha believe me they're on. i just got a few bolts started so i can get the rockers on. and no, i didnt adjust the rockers before i torqued the heads down lol. just got them started

alright its been a while but i got the motor in the car finally. later this week ill be ordering flywheel, and clutch/pressure plate to put on. then ill be looking to get a tranny, mass air meter, and a few small things and hopefully get it on the road.

thanks...it has been a lot of fun and since its my first time doing all this ive learned so much that i feel like i can fix anything with the car if a problem comes up or if i need to adjust or change something.

Looking good Ryan. I take it the headers worked fine for you? One suggestion on the clutch, Centerforce Dual Friction.
