Get vin numbers for all parts you put on unless they are new parts. Go to an inspection station and have the mechanic sign off on it. Send it in to the state. Right now you might get it back by October.

There are more but that's all that was logged!!!
First, go to a Notary and get all the paperwork. It will come in a packet. Keep all receipts for new and used parts. Need insurance also. Take to an inspection station that is now certified through the state to inspect bike. They have to be certified by the state! Do not lose the salvage certificate! Make copies of everything! After all done, take back to Notary to make sure everything is in order, AND take PICTURES before and after. In other words, get proper paperwork, inspection, receipts, pictures, copies, insurance and cover your butt! If you do everything in order, the title should take 3 weeks.
yea you must make sure the insp station is certified to do r title ,not just any inspection station can do this.the laws have changed the last couple years.
ok thanks everybody! someone i work with told me i can do this through AAA. anyone know if this is true?
