I had a great time at Fun Ford in Norwalk, qualifying No. 1 at 11.01 on Saturday, but on Sunday I got the bye, and ran a 10.8 at 126mph but the Sat. qualifier stood since it rained Sun. morning. I used M/T Drag Radials for the first time and had a best 1.51 60ft time instead of my Hoosier slicks. All in all, it was so gratifying to finally win some rounds and to be in a final after all the money and time we invest in our race cars and trucks! I didn't win it, but I caught him just before the stripe, and I"m pretty sure he heard the Orange Steel Lightning blowing by him. Next time I will know to hit the brakes quicker! Thanks Mark L. for posting the results and Bob M. I haven't made to PRP yet this year, either the truck was in the shop or my work conflicted. Mark and PJ, maybe I will see you guys at the church cruise in Cranberry, and hopefully other Steel City members.
