its worth cuz they are pretty cheap, but it keeps the driveshaft up in case it breaks so your car doesnt catapult end over end. lol....it keeps bad things from happening.

I believe you don't need one if you use a carbon fiber driveshaft. I rather use a CF shaft so 1 it doesn't catapult the car and 2 so it won't tear the floor of the car open.

If you're going to race, IHRA rules require the loop if you use slicks, regardless of ET. NHRA requires it on all cars 13.99 and quicker. It's just a good idea to have one.
It wont catapult your car. Mythbusters proved that. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
