    Need advice

I currently only drive my car to and from the track and once in a great while I drive it on the weekends. Also has a 6-point and race seats already.

Alwright my ? is should I remove more weight from my cobra ie. manual brakes steering, ac delete? or leave all the acc. and buy a screw blower? If I hit the lotto I will not hesitate to do both.

In that car you are better just building some more power and see what you run. After that if you arnt happy start taking weight out. I have seen many low 11 second 03-04s that have cold blowing AC!

Mine is already in the 10's with cold a/c but it has only been used like 4 times since I have had the car. I can't really decide on the more power thing either these motors are a giant time bomb. Thanks for you input though.

These cars are already inherently nose heavy. I am advocating the removal of weight from the front in an effort to yield more efficiency (read: better 60') For the amount of cash outlay the blower will require opposed to getting the car to 60'. Bottom line, the limited street duty it sees and even "if" you bought the screw blower the efficiency would be comprimised because of the nose heaviness.

Just my .02 cents, what the h$ll do I know anyway....

This is what is planned so far. Tubular k/coilovers, radio delete, airbag delete, manual brakes/steering, a/c delete. I am not sure on weight of these items but I am guessing atleast a 200 pound weight reduction. What you all think?

I'd say you'll pick up at least 2 mph and nice reduction in the 60' incremental. Mid 10's is achievable without a doubt.
