    New toy

I picked it up off Bobcat equipment. I couldn't beat the deal. I figured since the bronco was going to go and I couldn't tow with it being a lifted up one anyhow. This fit the bill perfectly. I just need to get a factory bed for it. Oh, and my "GOD" don't ever have a 12,500 gvwr vehicle to buy plates for it sucked ass. Anyhow its a 7.3 diesel 6 spd 2000 superduty ext. cab 2 wheel drive. My work is pretty much all highway travel. Paid 2500 for it.

Thanks it took a few hours to clean the dirt out of it and spray some black on the bed. Don't think they ever cleaned the interior. Seat could use shampoo'ed but, I don't have one to do it. I'll just try that stuff ya buy at walmart.

before you spend the money on a fact. daully bed do some measuring. that truck looks like a factory cab & chassis & if it is it will be 60in. cab to axle (pick up trucks are 56in.)& the rear end is narrower. if thats the case you will have an extra 4in. gap between the cab & bed & the wheels will sit to far in the wheel wells to look right on a fact daully bed(plus you have to tub out the inside wheel wells for clearance of inner tire). again if it is as it looks a factory cab&chassis buy a regular bed(still have to tub out the in side) & once your done putting it on get the right size aftermarket flare to cover the little bit of outer tire sticking out(prob. about 2-3in.) the reason I know is that is how we used to build chase tow trucks down in the city

It is 56 inches to the front edge of the axl and the tires stick out passed the cab so I dont think I have to worry about it being to narrow. Thanks for the info though. NOw If I am correct ford used regular beds and just threw the outside fenders on them or did they have spcial beds?

Oh I love makeing them smoke. My 99.5 I had had a few upgrades done to it. HEad crossover oil line to equal out the oil pressure to the injectors. fuel tank return mods so the hot fuel wasn't being sucked back up. Unplugged wasteghate(5lbs more boost) Custom air intake. Predator tuner set on max hp lol. A few guages to watch temps. Damn thing was fun. Thanks for keeping your eye's open for a bed. I seen one on ebay a lil beat up but I threw a bid out at it.
