    Tune for nitrous

I am considering running a dry kit on my fox body. I heard to be safe I should get the car tuned for the nitrous which is fine since I don't want to blow anything up. So my Question is do I need to buy a chip or anything for the tune? And where is the best place to go to get it tuned?

I know plenty of guys running juice on their 5 liters w/o a tune, follow the directions with the kit and tuning baselines and you should be fine.

I ran a zex kit on mine and NEVER had any probs with a 125hp hit. This was on a stock engine, 255 Lph intank pump, and 24# inj.

Well, if you read that other thread, you know my take on it. Good luck either way!

Would I have to get a chip or something so when I do run the nitrous it adjusts for it?

when yuo go to get the tune, the tuner should have a software that he likes to use, they will be able to provide the chip for you according to the software they use...

Hey Tim I was going to upgrade to 24lb injectors for the nitrous. Is that a good idea? Also should I upgrade my fuel pump?

I think anyone here will tell you to go with a 255lph intank pump, the injectors are not as critical but a good idea, just remember to get a calibrated maf.

You would need to get a larger pump. I had the stock injectors and a larger pump and still had fuel to spare. 24's wouldn't hurt anything though.
