    Bassani Xpipe

    My new X pipe just came in today and i'm going to put it on tomorrow. I've never done this before, any tips or tricks i should know? I heard the hangers can be a real pain in the @$$. is this true?

    1998 GT- PI swap, 3.73's, off road h pipe, flows & some suspension goodies

    White 1986 GT T-Tops- BBK shorties, RAM clutch/flywheel, Bassani catted x pipe, MSD ignition, MAC cai, LMM lowering springs, adjustable skocks & struts, MGW short throw, DD

    Black 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6- custom levers, -1 front sprocket, Jardine GP-1 exhaust, HIDs, custom undertail, custom black windscreen.

    +1 Its not hard at all, unless the header studs are seized. You'll need some extensions and possibly a swivel socket to get the header stud nuts off, at least I did when I had shorties on my car.

    X2! Getting up to those headers is such a PITA.

    I broke a swivel when i put my o/r h on.

    This is a total n00b question so dont flame me :) lol But arent there o2 sensors on my stock h pipe? What do I do with them once the o/r is on?

    They still have places to put them into the new pipe... Be ready for the check engine light to come on (unless you have them programmed out) also the rear O2 sensors may need extened ( they make wire kit for that)

    Well Im m'fing EVERYTHING right now, I bought the wrong ones..My dumbass bought the ones for long tube headers, and I thought thats what came stock..Wow..Ive got a lot to learn..****

    Ouch, thats a tough break man. But if it makes you feel any better i had to take 3 trips to the hardware store cuz i ended up cutting off bolt that had practically welded them selves together. Guess they haven't been touched for a while, like 22 two years. I got it on and i LOVE the little bit of raspyness that it put in the tone. Now i just need to get a cat back and some long tubes and i'll be good to go

    And thanks to lou for getting me the pipe in a timely manner! Can't wait to blow some more money out at LMM
