4.6 mod question

I wanna build a good bottom end on my 4.6 and maybe a set of heads. anyone got any links to parts or places to gettem? i figured someone already checked into what allcan be done with a 4.6 ....id be greatful on any info thanks

My motors fully built but 1st u gotta decide wat u wana do down the road...if u want high comp or low comp..and what ur budget is....you can buy an already assembled shortblock or get ur original block bored honed etc if u want.

I believe the stock crank is rated up to 600 or 800hp i cant remember off top of my head...some people keep there stock crank an get forged pistons an rods...i believe alot of mod guys go w the forged cobra crank. or u could do a 5.0 stroker kit from livernois or d.s.s

Pick up a mustang magazine...theres several dozen places to get engine parts from. DSS,Livernois,eagle,modular perfomance,modular depot. It all depend son what you want to spend and how much power you are looking to make. Anything can be done if you have the cash to make it happen...want 350hp..easier than 1khp but either can be done.
