I paintd my own interior pieces an traded rob my stock tails for his tinted ones..i think he did them w a heat gun

I did my tails with vht spray coating then dc4000 ppg quick clear they were dull befor I cleared them but now they look like O.E tint , that would be the only thing I'd do to your car they'ed match the rest of the gloss black theme, that thing is bad-ass

that hood is sick and if I could see over it I prolly would trade you my stalker but Im only 5ft 10 so thats out, see any cowls you can get let me know ,I do need a change . Rob did you use VHT on those?

i have no idea how you did them lol, i think i was talkin to my buddy who did his with a heat gun or something

should paint the calipers next.

any tips on painting them? i have no idea whats a good way to paint them, do i have to take them off, etc?

thanks, i love it bc its something diffrent than what everyone has,.....i still have yet to see someone with it...hope i didnt jinx it lol

When I did my calipers on my v6 I just did them red(car is red). I got the caliper red paint kit from summit racing. If I was to do it again though I would probably of sanded the top of it a little because mine was still bumpy. Hard to get all the dirt and buildup off with just a wire brush and make it look perfect. But then again I didn't care too much just an old v6. Turned out nice until you get close to it because I didn't make it look perfect.

I didn't take mine off. I mean you can if you want I guess. I just taped what I didn't want painted and took the brush and painted it.

how many coats did you put on? an you dont need clear right?

so you sand them a little then just paint them with a little brush an caliber paint an let it dry an thats it?? why didnt i do it sooner if its that easy lol
