    First time with a paint gun

    I bought a gravity feed paint gun last year never got to play with it, never painted before except with cans on stupid things so i figured id repaint the hood on my moms 97 malibu that has big chips in it....so hey wasnt to bad for a first timer, just need to learn how to set the gun right and how to paint a lil better lol

    did you shoot clear on it? it doesnt look bad, hard to tell from the pic you took.

    looks good from what you can see


    just a lil tip for next time i would for sure cover the whole car just to keep from getting over spray on it.

    yea its cleared, yea it was a quickie job didnt feel like masking the whole car off, yea i know halfazzed but hey it aint a showcar either lol

    Doesnt look too bad.

    Get it out of the garage and the papers off it and take another pic so we can see the comparison of the original paint.

    Also wet down the floor to keep the dust from getting kicked up when you walk.

    A clay bar will clean up the over spray.
