Ready to install the harness for my carbed 5 speed (tremec if it matters) car. I have 2 harnesses. The one on the left only has 2 plugs on the tranny side (untouched factory harness, not sure on donor's options). Harness on the right has 3 factory plugs from a 4 cylinder car (unsure on options). I personally removed both harnesses, so I know nothing had been tampered with. I AM NOT using cruise control on my car. Would I be able to use the 2 plug harness?

If you are not using the cruise, you could use either. All you are getting from this is the activation of the reverse lights. Thats all I used on my Tremec.

That doesn't make sense though, if the harness on the left is without the plug for the reverse lights, that means that the car was equipped without them????
I think the black connector is the reverse lights. Either way, it doesnt matter. Put it on and ground it to be sure they work. Just jump from both wires. I only used one from mine due to the Tremec being different.
