Harness on stock seats.

I always wear my seatbelt no matter where I go, but I hate how uncomfortable they can be. I like the feeling of racing harnesses, no matter how homo some people might think the idea of them are, Im thinkin about getting one for my car. I gues I could fold down my drivers side back seat and use the bolt behind the seat to hook the harness onto. Has anyone on here done this, or reconemd me doing it another way? Thanks!

I had one with my staock seat before I got my cobra racing bucket, I drilled through the boxed channel that the rear bench seat sits on and bolted them to there, I'll post up a few pics

here ya go, I also tack welded steel plates on the front and back of the boxed channel and ran the bolts through the channel so they are bolted in the front, and have a bolt and washer in the rear to hold it

just keep in mind that a harness is potetially life threatening in a roll over situation w/o a roll cage. Yes I love and want them too but I dont want to put a roll bar in my car so I wont put them in. Stock seat belts are designed to allow the person to fold to the middle of the car in case the car rolls over and to keep from getting your head crushed.

Im not trying to talk you out of it, Im just letting you know what might happen. So please dont take this the wrong way.
