Your coach was right. You don't need belts, you need good form. I've see a lot of guys doing squats allllll wrong, best part is that those are the guys that never even get to parallel but keep throwing more and more weight on.

Most I've squatted with was 510 lbs for sets of 2 when I weighed 194

ya, but good form isnt doin front squats with your butt touching your calves, thats wat the dumbass at rmu had me do n I blew a disc out of my back, it was soo painful, I couldnt walk ten ft to the bathroom to take a piss

no, not at all. Your knees should never move in front of your toes, thats a great way to tear up your knees, although I can't imagine that being bad for your back though, sounds like you might have just been predisposed to getting that injury and a dumb coach just accelerated that process. sorry to hear about that though

edit - are you saying your butt touching your calves because you're going really low or because you're going forward?

That stinks you got hurt from that, I can't see that putting a lot of strain on your back. We probably have entirely different physiques though, so there may be something I'm missing

this is kinda off topic now but if your in greensburg you gotta go to the red brick. its a bar/resturant in west point. not far from you and the portions are HUGE. the whole hoagies are a full loaf of italian bread. pizza are just as huge, and its good too.

not bad at all. the steak hoagies are actual steaks sliced, not the steakum crap at other places.
