Best announcer I have EVER seen or heard. Hands down. He got to know "his" racers in the pits at every race.
I went up to the tower at the WFC in St.Louis in '06 to chat with him, right before he was moving on.

Hey, pop ! Yeah, I have the blue slug, still stock as always.

I really haven't done a lot this year due to my work and the fact that I am finally getting over the effects of that sciatic nerve issue. But, I do plan to do some more draggin'.

You ever get that fox running ?

No not yet. We are still gathering parts, have the K-member, rack&pin, rearend, engine block and heads, shocks and susp. parts, and a lot of other go fast stuff. Waiting for it to go to cage and tub joint, then start to put it together. It might be alive next spring!!!! See ya,,
