JUNK IT!
The blue vette from senge is nothing more then a HCI car with full exhaust tuned by Ed Wright. Last year I beleive it ran in the 11.70's on F1's??? Not sure if they chaneged anything on it this year or where or what the status of the car is.
I do know the senges personally...went to highschool with them and known them all my life. If there draggin on stangs then its just cause they wanna bust ur balls, there some of the coolest guys i know. They can turn wrenches on cars with the best of them, he does a ton on performance work on the side. There the ones that did my entire N20 install on the 03 cobra, they also did my Kenne bell install..longtubes, etc etc....
This thread kinda went in a million directions lol

while ranger did take his z to 10.80 in a mineshaft, not everybody can drive like that, and thats far from the norm. Hell first time I went to the track I beat one
C6's are nice cars, believe me when I say that, as I cross shopped them when I was serious about getting "the" car I wanted. They didn't do much for me at all. I drove one on a track in las vegas too (the kind with turns ). They just lacked the overall 'special' touch and in your face quality that the 03/04 cobras have (plus I've been in love with the cars since I first laid eyes on them in the fall of 02).
I can't stand the modded vs stock arguments, as it only boils down to two particular cars at one given time that anything is ever really going to happen. If your car is stock and it bothers you when somebody says a modded car is faster than yours.... maybe instead of getting upset you should buy something??
This thread went to hell over the weekend lol
isnt the new zr1 only in the 11's anyway? and a zo6 going 10.80's?...

Your right i almost forgot what this thread was about, haha. btw that blue vette is a nice car and IMO will outrun alot of stangs roaming the streets around here with the exception of a few here and there. Senges are def cool people from my experience thru talking to them.

If they are so different why does everyone comparing them together on every magazine? its always a comparison between the two..
i never said anything that compared the handling of the two cars. I know the vette is a better handling car and i was prefacing that by saying that i drove one on a track. I'm not saying one is always better than the other; but for me i found that i liked the old cobra more than the new vette. Sorry if i didn't make that clear enough. Besides that, i wouldn't have been able to enjoy the vette in the same way as the cobra because i wouldn't have been able to find one as perfect as mine or nearly as fast as mine for anywhere near the same price- which was very important to me

gotcha
only thing i can say about the handling is this... i've never drove a cobra, but been in a couple... and i have driven a vette... and obviously, driven my Trans Am.... they all handle well, but the difference is where the corvette is EASY to yank through the turns and it feels easy to make it handle like a champ... the T/A handles well, but you its hard work to make the thing handle well... i expect the cobra to be somewhere in between
