Performance wise? Absolutely. ZR1 really is the king of the hill. With that said, I'd take a GT over anything short of a saleen s7 (turbo or n/a), a murcialago LP640, an F40/50/enzo and a veyron. The GT has a presence that can't really be duplicated by anything with a motor in the front.

I would take a GT over that vette any day. ZR1 is an amazing car that is one of the best cars made but at the end of the day its still a vette. If people saw that that vette go down the road 80% of them would say o another vette. Now how many modded Ford GT's do you see driving around? Its not all about speed.
