If they're real old do you think i could take em back? Haven't even put them on the car yet.

    Tires

This is very true!!! At the tire dealer that was my former place of work, tires came in and got put away, right on top of the ones that were already there! There was no rotating stock, so if we were slamed and you came in late, chances are you got tires that were old, there were still SS20 Firestones on the bottom of the pile from 10 years ago when i started, good for me doin burnouts, but i would never put them on a family car. Safety should come into play at some point in time, but it never did!!! Just thought i would give you guys a heads up! So if its "On Special" chanches are you gettin rooked!!
    JUNK IT!

Have a set of tires on the stang that I bought for a different car in 1999. Still in good shape, no dry rot, etc. Would I purposely buy an old set? no. Would I use an old set if I had them? yes I would, as long as I don't have any dry rot.
