Is this the worst summer weather we've had in years or is it just me???
I just checked for the weekend. I don't even see numbers anymore. This is what it looks like to me.

I'll warn you tho, you'll miss it and be looking for another one in a couple months MAX!
Atleast you don't have my problem... Somehow, i split the case in 4 places on my bike.... something must have got caught in the chain and yaked the front sprocket back... ripped it up pretty bad... i've beein in the teardown process for 2 weeks... everytiem i get something done, i need another special tool that i need to order! Ugh!...

yea i hear ya.. Another thing is that i should of looked around more when i bought my 250f.. I got it brand new and put about half cash and financed the rest with yamaha which was very stupid and i wasnt using my head. I saw it there and knew i could have it.. My next one will be used and paid with cash. like my cr's..
Wow that does suck... Spliting the cases on those i heard were a b*****.. You going to be upgrading the insides at all?
yea.... I just got the new top-end kit yesterday.... going to up the compression a bit... its a 12.5:1 Wiseco forged piston kit... Other than that, just going to put new intake valves in it, new cam chain, new cam chain tensioner, and probably new bearings while i have the bottom end split apart...
I also foudn that apparently something got inside the engien at one point - i'm positive that it wasn't while i owned the thing! The bike ran flawlessly, but when i tore it apart, ther are knicks in the piston, head, and one small knick at the very top of the cylinder.. my guess is that a spark plug electrode broke off and the piston got a few strokes in before it stopped... I say this because there is no damage whatsoever to the valves or valve seats - so it appear that rather than something coming in through the intake, the plug electrode broke off and the bike shut off... they tore the head off, took the piece out, new plug, and fired it up... However, the knicks in the head are ok i think... i'll just clean up any 'burrs' that may exist... the small knick in the cylinder is at the very top edge of teh cylinder, well above the ringland, so it shouldn't affect anything either.. I will have the cylinder checked to be sure its still "in round" and if so, then piece it all back together...
This has definitely been a pain, but i gotta do what i gotta do....
