I purchased a phone on ebay a couple months ago. They sent me the wrong one 2 times, and the right one they sent did not turn on. Tired of this, I sent the phones back, which they were aware of and wanted my money back. So a few days after sending the phones back, I got an email from paypal stating my shipping was refunded to me. I thought, "where the hells my refund for the price of the phone!?". After calling this company numerous times over a span of 2 1/2 weeks, I kept getting the run around "We cannot find your information" or "we'll get in touch with you". They never got ahold of me. Finally, I sent them an email today(at 4:52PM) wanting my money, and here is the email :

I would like to have the money I paid for the phone, sent back to me. It was $79.21 + $9.95 for the shipping(which the shipping was already refunded). Item number 230344317210. I have went about this matter rather nicely, and I am tired of trying and fighting with you and your company for my refund. IF I do not receive this refund within the next week by September 1st, 2009, YOU AND/OR YOUR COMPANY WILL be receiving a certified letter in the mail from my lawyer. I do not want to have to go through this and have a legal dispute over such a small cost, but I want my money back and will do what ever it may be that I have to. Had I known you and your company would do such a thing to people, I would have never purchased this phone. I bought the phones, you sent me the wrong one in color twice, both of which were not in "NEW" condition as described, and the third one didnt even power on. This is the last email you shall receive from myself. The next letter you receive will be from my lawyers office. Have a great day.

I checked my email at about 6:01PM and I had an email from Paypal saying there was $90.00 credited to my account. I laughed hysterically because after mentioning my lawyer, it only took an hour and some change to get my money back

..at least I finally got it.

wht'd they send you pink? :P righteous. at least you got it back, all too often you'd never see/hear from them again. i got a "new" iPod touch a while ago and it came in a ziplock sandwich bag

and, man am I ever critical of people when they do this to me...

Our home phone is out this morning... dead, no dial tone, all phones. unplugged and plugged in all cordless and whatnot... dead. So, Wifey is in charge of the phone bill and we use "Line Systems" ??? Got me! She obviously shopped around and came up with the cheapest chump on the market. She calls them. They tell her to do what we alread did. They say, "Well, the line is good to your house on our end". So, I guess we're screwed. We don't have the insurance and it's still off this evening. We're having a 1/2 argument about what it's going to cost and her using Mr. Cheapestphonecompanyintheland. So, we decide to go to grocery store and get something to eat. (this is the weird part --- normally on a Friday we never do this and we would never drive this direction). We leave house, drive 1 mile down road and there are three Verizon trucks and what looks like the foreman or boss in a pick-up. I pull up and stop.

I say "Is this why the phone is off?"
He says, "Yes".
I, "We have Line Systems. They told us the line was good to the house."
H, "They must have ran a faulty test."
I, "hmmmm. what happened?"
H, "THEY stole the phone line"
I, "Who" (<<< this is the retarded part where I would have mocked myself)
H, "Well, I wish I knew buddy, I wish I knew. It should be back on tonight when we get it all hooked up."

You should have seen the look on his face. I was more appalled at myself for asking such a question.
