hmmmmmmmmm, publicly auditing the federal reserve is now likely to be approved?? Maybe that will give Ron Paul enough of a boost to be a legitimate contender in 2012? thoughts??

I need your opinion guys... I bought this yellow 95 GT a few weeks ago mainly for the tranny and was just going to find another (body alil rough) car to swap the tranny(TKO600) into. But the more i think about it the more i should just keep it and start my build now and basically learn everything about building a car from bodywork to wiring them, to pulling the finished product out of the garage. The body is straight but alil rough,(paint job would take 95% of the imperfections out) and underneath has some rust and and needs new fuel lines(dont leak). The worst part is where the spare tire goes, going to need cut out. Its going to take time and money but i was looking for a project and i have a pretty good one. The only real thing i dont like about the car is the sunroof. So you guys think i should tackle it or sell the car and buy a car that needs nothing(body wise).. Here is a pic of it

and what the end product will look like in 04 screaming yellow

Build it scotty!! thats the fun of having a project doing most of the work..im glad my fox is already painted pretty decent so i dont gotta worry bout it.

It doesn't look bad from the pics. I say do this one since you already have it. The sun roof doesn't bother me either.

I really don't like sunroofs but like you said if you were going to fill it in to the point where you
A. Couldn't tell it was ever there

And

B. You wouldn't have to worry about it giving you problems in the future like cracking or popping up from torque as t tops do

Then I would keep it. Also personally I would make a list of everything extra you would have to do to that body more than you would on another body and see how far ahead or behind you are financially. If its gonna take you more time, money, and grief than just buying a better body than I would get something different.
