yes, unless you NEED a tune/tuner to correct for gears or O2 sensors, you're just throwing 350-400 bucks out the window.

I had a Modular Depot canned tune in my '01 with all the normal bolt-ons. After I had cams/headers installed, I drove to SGS to get it dyno-tuned. After 1 hour and another couple hundred bucks, Dave Guy tells me the Modular Depot tune was almost "spot-on".

I wouldn't think about a tune on a 2V unless you had some type of forced induction. JMHO! All the hype/BS about "waking your car up" is advertising from those companies or other schmucks (like me!!!) that feel like making other people spend 350-400 cabbages, too.

Ok, another weekly question.

I want some sort of aftermarket head unit for my 03 GT. My problem I am running into is I want a " touch screen" style and it has to fill in where the Mach system was.

I think if this one will fit nicely I will get it.

If you all think Zambelli got something going on with fireworks, you havent seen the Chinese setting up for New Years. They are rattling the windows every night. There was just a big display across the road.

I did take some video, just need to get home to upload it somewhere on a reliable net connection.

I've got help right up to the 2nd thankfully. That is when I plan to head home too. I guess I do have some pull, not sure if that's a good thing or if I've just spent waaaaaayyyyy to much time here. Not only do I have help, I've got them working Saturday and Sunday with me.

Got a text message earlier today that my flight home for tomorrow (Wednesday) is cancelled because of the weather you all are getting over there. I've been on the phone all day with my travel folks. I "think" I've got a flight out of here into San Franciso anyway. As long as something gets me into the states, I can figure it out from there.

Man I love all this "see the world stuff" ;) , especially if it's airport terminals you like :(
