I would LOVE to rally, its always in the back of my head that i want to race. Its in my blood, maybe one day. I am not into drag racing, I repect the sport but its not for me.

I know our little male Pug growing up had a large gas/weight ratio and could clear me from rooms.

It is cool but not really practical here.
As far as your drag comment.....have you ever made a pass at the strip or even been to a track?
I've never been out on a road course but that's beacuse I know how I am and I'd be hooked

Yeah, I posted the vid because it was Mustangs rallying. I would think it would be a pig off road like that.

And no, never been to the strip. Doesnt do anything for me going in a stright line. I figure your going to say go to the strip then make up my mind about it. I would love to get on a road coarse and would kill to rally. I have a ton of pictures that I want to scan of my dad when he was racing, he started off Auto Crossing and SCCA . I think some of you would like to see them.

Yep ... it's official, I have found the end of the earth and it's in Bangalore India ...

And another thing, who the heck thought it was a good idea to set up the flights so you get in at 1:30 am and leave at 3:30 am from any country ... it does save you from actually seeing the place in the daylight for a while, but sooner or later you are going to see it anyway ...

No, not a hit and run... I was in the car when he hit me....

I stopped at the front of the restaurant to let my fiance out before parking the car, and he didnt' even bother to look... just threw it in reverse and starting coming back... crunch...

he admitted it was his fault and his insurance is covering everythign - but nonetheless, i'm so furious about it... because stuff RARELY goes back together as good as it was when it came apart.. and my car was flawless...

I'm hoping its in good hands though - i took it to Greater Pittsburgh Collision Works, at the bottom of the hill below Moon... they seem to specialize in high-end imports, as all I ever see there are BMW's, Audi's, Porche's, etc.... I wanted a Lexus dealer to repair it, but neither Rorich nor Lexus of North Hills have body shops...

Sucks to hear. You're probably better off taking it to a dedicated collision shop. Just because a dealer has a body shop doesn't mean it would come out better.

Yeah right ... It pays the bills ... but I sure am rethinking my chosen carrer path.

The good news is, 3:30 AM flight tonight (tomorrow morning) and I'm out of here ... into Germany and civilization for the next week or so. Will be nice to have some dead animal to eat again.

I hear you on this. I was at Hardees one day with my Firebird. I was the only car on that side of the parking lot. Two 300lb black ladies come swinging in with their pile 'o chit Sunfire with duct taped mirrors and the works, park right next to me. I stop eating my burger and just watch.. The one fat black chick swings her door open so hard that it bounces off my fender and slammed shut again. I could not believe my eyes. Miraculously there was no damage. I was PISSED.

I realize they don't give a darn about their car because its only worth $500, but that doesn't mean I don't care about mine.

And did you do anything about it? Probably not worth it but no way I could watch that and not say anything. Even if it is just a Firebird

I went out and got the typical fat black woman response.. "Oh my bad" followed by a "I think I hit your wheel not your car".. I was speechless, I looked at my car and nothing was wrong so I knew that it wasn't worth flipping out about but I just told her that she hit my damn car and it would be impossible for her to hit my wheel, and that just because she don't give a shit about her car doesn't mean I don't give a shit about mine.
