Boost should never be turned down, only up.

There's no such thing as too much boost, just not enough fuel.

It's not too much boost, just not enough cojones.

Low boost makes baby jesus cry.

4 points of wisdom and bolded for truth! in fact there was a company in NJ called N2MB (Never 2 Much Boost) that was popular with the SRT crowd. I used them when they first opened but when they blew up I stopped going (IMO they forgot about the people who believed in them when they were small fry).

but its true, you can never have too much boost

Although I am a believer in the boost gospel, I am more of a RPM guy. I've never met an RPM I didn't like :)

230MPH Corvette Crash @ Texas Mile

What happened here? All the u toob professionals say one of the rear tires gave up. maybe? Looks like too much downforce on the front and too much hp in the back to me. I bet he spun the tires at 230mph.

Hinson called up the engineers at Mickey Thompson and asked if the et street radials they were using would hold up at sustained speeds over 210-220. MT said they wouldn't chance it but the guys at Hinson said screw it and did it anyway. You can see what the result of that decision was.

"We talked to the engineers at M/T, and they pretty much said they wouldn't do it. However, we decided to run them due to the short period of time at high speeds. Looks like we will be the guinea pigs."

Yeah they have gotten fairly big.. They do a decent assortment of cars now. I haven't run it on the track with it yet. Also has the no lift shift feature.

I've been starting seeds for the garden this summer. We have a slightly shorter season up here so I started some things under lights. Its a ghetto setup (tin foil instead of mylar for reflective material) but it seems to be doing the job.

This past winter tomatoes got up to (hmm... kg * 2.2046 * 1.02....) a little over $4.00 USD/lb for tasteless crap. Not next winter. I also picked up some other vegetables (peppers, eggplant, etc) that were available in "dwarf" varities in order to have a nice indoor garden next winter.

Just had my gall bladder srugery this morning. found polyps and stones so they wanted to remove it in order to rule out cancerous polyps. Laproscopic method went very well. In pain, but got some T3's so its not too bad.

For those interested in my wait times, surgical consult/opinion was March 24. Surgeon put in OR request March 25. Got surgery today (10 days).

Thanks man. So far so good. Less pain than I thought and this weird, achey pain I had on my right side seems to have disappeared since it was removed so I'm hopeful that one of my health issues has been sorted out.

Curious if this was the standard health care or if you have a private carrier too. Not excatly sure how the Canadian system works, but I know from Friends in England, that's what their private insurance does, it's "covered" by the government plan and their private carrier gets them bumped up to the top of the que's.
