Sorry to hear that John, I'm sure he was loved.
I've had my dog (Boss) for about 2 months now. When he got really sick I worried he would go. They really are our best freind. Let me know if you need anything, I'm right down the road.

I had to do the same exact thing to my German Shepherd in 04, Gunner had cancer and there was nothing else they could do for him. He was too big and couldn't get him in the truck to go to the vet so he came to my house. I held him while he died... it was the single hardest thing I ever had to do. I always try to remember the good times with him.
Sorry to hear this John. Pets are family and it's very hard to lose one. I know when they get to that point it's the best thing to do so they're not suffering anymore but it's defenately a hard descision to make.
Hardest part is he was only 2 years old and perfectly healthy. Ever since the wife got pregnant, and since my son was born he was in protect mode. He bit a couple people pretty good, and nipped 4 others. 4 out of the 6 incidences were with children. He wasnt a mean dog, just protective of the house and my wife/son...
More than one dog expert told us he had developed a bite pattern and could not be reversed. The way I look at it is people come before dogs, especially children.
Man, sorry to hear John! ... I coulnd't bear the thought of loosing my dog..

You did the right thing John. It's a shame it had to come to that, but you are absolutely right. Take it easy.

Man, that is tough, and I'm sure even harder since he was healthy, but biting can never be excused, as once dogs do it they never change (kinda like men and women who cheat).
Hopefully you will get another one soon! I surely can relate to how tight of a bond you can form with an animal. Crazy huh?

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
That would make it harder but I agree, you made the right choice. A good friend of mine had to do the same thing, only his dog would bite them as well. You could be petting it then out of know where he would turn on you. It was hard from him to do as well.
Thanks man. As much as they can work your nerves you never realize how much you would miss them being there.
Thanks Ron
Thats what the specialist told us. Once they form that bite there's no turning back. I still have my two females so that makes it a little better.

I know I didn't. That's 20 bucks down the drain.

What do you guys suggest on painted calipers? I wanted to paint mine today, I went down to Auto Zone to get paint but IDK. All they had was a deep almost blood red, not a bright red. I saw the brush on kit, but read online that the brush is junk and it tricky to get it right. Plus it was 20 bucks, no way.
Im standing there thinking that its going to look tacky and bad. My 03 is the nicest car ive owned, dont want it to look like crap.
Id love to get the red caliper covers from AM but thats not in the budget right now. Any suggestions?

I cant justify 200 bucks for covers, might as well get the real deal if your spending that much.
