So Ive been looking for a winther ride so I can park the Stang for the winter. I can not believe some of the prices people come up with for older cars/trucks with over 100K miles and are rittled with rust.

I am looking for a Ford or Chevy truck for the winter, might even go SUV but I want 4 wheel drive. If anyone knows any in GOOD shape for 2k or under let me know please!

That's right... that's why i wouldn't move much on the price of my little Acura when i had it for sale... i looked for a long time for a beater, and its almost impossible to find somethign that's in mechanically good shape for under $2500, that doesn't have the entire body rusted out..... and if you do find one, it'll be gone in a day or two... took less than 24 hours for my Acura to be sold once i put it on craigslist...

one thing to look at would be to look for r-titles... some people still try to get nearly retail value outta an r-title, but others aren't so naieve... I got my current beater, a 2003 F-150, for $2K... its mechanically in great shape, and there's not a spec of rust on it anywhere... its pretty scratched up from getting keyed, but i really didn't care, as its a beater that goes 7 miles a day to the bus stop

edit: Oh, and it has 101K miles..

Thats what Im looking for. I love some of the decriptions on CL. First off, put a picture of what your selling. Ive read some ads that say," R title title dont know why", "looks good, runs good" ( rust rust rust), "selling for a freind, know nothing about the car", or my all time favortie " Threw a rod or spun a bearing, ethier way a cheap fix, still runs".

I have Xbox 360 and MW1/2/3, just started getting into MW3, but it's alot harder to keep up with the 15 year olds when you don't have 8-9 hrs./day to master the online play.

So my wife gets rear ended on Monday night in Cranberry, coming home from work. The doushe that hit her (he was texting on his phone) was in a new 2011 VW Jetta. He was doing about 30mph when he hit her. His Jetta had to be towed from the seen and he had to go to the hospital in an Ambulance. My wife drove our Audi home. All's that happened to it was the back bumper got cracked and exhaust got shoved up under the car. I was very impressed how well our Audi held up. Freakin things a tank! Even the officer commented on how well the car took the hit. We'll be buying another one when this one needs to be replaced. My wife banged her shin on the dash and hit her head on the roof. She is doing fine.

Wow - sorry to hear about the accident Kevin, but it is great to hear your wife is ok.
There are SO many freakin idiots out there on the roads. If you wreck while texting you should lose your license for 2 years - amazing how stupid people can be. If you have to text, pull the F over and do it, or wait 5 minutes until you get where you're going and call then!!

Where would the ground be for the fog lights?

On a side note I think I found a truck, 96 Ranger looks to be in good shape. Hopefully the guy emails me back. Looks great in the pictures, hopefully looks good in person.

Really looking forward to parking the Mustang for the winter and getting some things done to it.

EDIT: If anyone is on PS3 network my online name is Slayer1356.

If I could harness the energy wasted by the human body producing excessive amounts of nose-hair, I am convinced that I could power New York City or Rex Ryan's mouth...

Last night I had a long tingler, my nose hair trimmer died out, so I learned (the hard way) how much it hurts to pluck a nose hair with tweezers... HOLY SHIT, I was in tears
