Well the GN is going to its new home next wk. I'm picking up the new toy/family hauler on Saturday the 25th. Getting an 07 Legacy GT AWD (2.5 boxer engine, with an intercooled turbo). 250hp! I can use it to autoX and maybe once in awhile run it down the old 1,320. These cars are relatively quick for what they are. Seen stock one's go 14 flat at 98mph in the 1/4. I know i'll probably miss the GN but i've had to make some changes do to family.

From last inspection to now I put 1,900 miles on the Mustang. It's now put away for winter and on winter insurance plan.
So, I kept it under 5,000 miles is it now except? Can I do what ever I want to the exhaust/emissions without fear if a fail?

The emissions exemption is a year-to-year thing. The exempt sticker will still cost you about $15. If you keep it under 5k miles between any two inspections you should be alright.
But only 1900 miles? Has your car turned into a trailer potato?? :D

That's what I thought. So other than cops, I can run a OR H without worry? Set up is going to be Catless H, Pypes M80 with 4 inch tips. I have a build thread on another forum discussing cams and intake. I doubt there would be any interest in a build thread discussion on here.
As for the low miles, I didn't get to enjoy it this year. Worked all the time and only took it to club events and local car shows. Next year I plan on finally making it to Carlise and the AM show. So the miles will be more.

You have a better chance of winning the lottery than being pulled over for an off road exhaust. Especially with a bolt on car.
This. I had side pipes on my car with long tubes/no mufflers making 440whp and drove past man cops and didnt get pulled over. Like most other illegal car related things, unless the owner acts like a jerk, the popo will leave you alone.

Very true. Canonsburg had one or two that I know pull over specifically for tint and exhaust. I know for instance one got under a guy I used to work with Chevelle with a flash like looking for mufflers. I don't drive like a nut so hopefully ill be fine.
Do you guys think there would be interest in a build/discussion build thread if I made one?
