Sounds like a good idea Barry. Your car has come a long way and looks great. Why not start a thread with some history - pics - plans - and ask your questions there. It'll be a way to keep everything together in one spot.

matt99 drove his car around Crafton with side pipes on it and never got a look. And they'll pull people over for the smallest reasons.

We took advantage of the nice day today and drove the wheels off the convertible today. Ended up on the Summit so we stopped for a picture top down in the snow :)

Wow - what a great day today was. Spent last night pulling the seats in the wife's Explorer and shampooing the carpets - first spot cleaning, then used a professional cleaning machine. It really did a great job. Today I cleaned and conditioned the leather seats, scrubbed the interior trim and cleaned the interior windows. Then a good bath for the exterior. This week she'll get a fresh coat of wax and she'll be ready for winter.

I have to make the Explorer ( a 2001 Eddie Bauer ) look good so the wife wants to hang onto it for a while ( so I can swing buying a 2014 GT once the Cobra sells ).

My fast food gluttony go-to is the Bacon Double Cheeseburger from Burger King. I haven't had one in about 3-4 years cus I don't eat fast food much anymore. But man are they good!

I Red Boxed Prometheus last night, what a let down. The CGI and effects were awesome, the story line blew. So many unanswered questions and pointless parts to the movie.

So what's a good forum to get good info on the new 5.0 cars? I frequent SVTP and Modular Fords but I'm guessing these guys are hanging out elsewhere because there doesn't seem to be as much info on those two as I would have thought.

Just trying to get a feel for what breaks at a given HP level. From what I've seen so far it looks like the short block is good to 600-650, Manuals are hanging in there till around 700, Autos are really tough and seem to take anything you can throw at them. Seems like most people are upgrading the driveshaft, but I don't know where it starts to become a problem. Not sure about the rear either, haven't heard about many breaking yet.
