So, I'm sitting in the courthouse waiting... cause that's basically all I ever do at a courthouse is WAIT. There is a defendant of some sort sitting beside me. OH, he was definitely a defendant. About 20 minutes go by and neither one of us say anything. We are just watching the lawyers walk back and forth and back and forth.
Finally, I turn to him and say, "Hey, what do you call 5,000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean?
He says, "Iono? Wha?"
I say, "A good start."
He stares at me for a good 30-40 seconds, then laughs like hell.
Well, that was the highlight of my day so far.

Clark, IMO I'd just hold on to what you've got, invest the money you have into a good short term CD & ride out the economy for a bit. OPEC is getting together to bump gas prices up again, and I don't know what kinda coin you make or have - but planning for the future is never a bad plan.
I'm ALWAYS kicking around the idea of what kinda car I want to get for a daily once the lease on my h3 is up. Flavor of the week type of deal...
I like the idea of buying used instead of leasing new and getting either a hot hatch (WRX, GTI, Mazdaspeed3, etc.), or something with a v8 (05+ GT or LS1/LS2 GTO, Challenger R/T). I'm afraid that if I get a muscle car of some sort that it will be too much like the cobra and I won't look forward to driving it as much as I do now. Nothing like going from an 18 second truck to a 11 sec cobra!! Polar opposites make you appreciate each more IMO.
I also like the idea of a bigger lux sedan, but IDK. I will look more seriously into all of this stuff & their respective markets this summer when my thoughts actually matter - but I also want to be sure I'm not going to get screwed on insurance with a particular car.
The one thing that is "good" about the economic downturn is that if you have money, big ticket luxury items are essentially "on sale."

I saw a license plate today coming through Youngwood on 119S about 10:00AM. It was on a white Acura Itegra "R" with full fart-can and all the other ricer accouchements.
I did not get a chance to snap a pic with my phone. Somebody on here (Clark wink wink) probably knows this person.
