Yesterday we were talking with our friends about going to visit them in Japan when they go back for another teaching contract. Then last night I had a dream I flew to China instead. It was horrible! On the flip side I'm really looking forward to going back to Japan again, it's easily the most awesome place I've ever been to.

For sure anything involving China is a nightmare ... I've been here over 3 weeks this trip, come home the weekend before Thanksgiving. The hotel told me a while ago that I have stayed with them 100 nights this year, i'm not done, and have stayed about 10 nights other places :( I really hate this place right now.

It depends, it rolls out here on two dates. We dont have government hot water in the factory until November 15th, but residential in Tianjin got it November 1st. The hotel I stay in has supplemental heat (split units) so we have had it avaialble, but they did a really nice job sighting the building and the solar gain this time of year is great. It's actually hot in my room when i get back from work, they close the darkening drapes with turn down service and its comfortable all night. It's been unusually cold here this fall, so getting the water on will be nice in the plant. Spring was also very cold this year and we started this project when the water was already off and froze our asses off since we still had days at 0-2 degrees and nights was -3 or 4.

On Edit - As a side note, the sighting that works really well for the spring and fall is a killer for heat gain in the summer. You have ot live with the drapes closed or the AC cant over come it, lol ... Silly Engineers

One more edit - A big issue I'm having with this project here is that I need natural gas for a process i'm installing, but also need very tight temperature and humidity control. To get that in the summer I'm going to have to drive the AC units hard and do reheat to bring it back up to comfort. They are freaking out about me using heat in the summer, something about it they cant understand ;)

More issues with the Ranger. Idle is all over the place. It Boggs down, CEL comes on then it "kicks" and the light goes out and it's fine. That keeps happening. Then tonight when I turn the steering wheel right the idle drops! I got to get it into a shop.
