thanks, sry i didnt get a chance to stop up today, just too much shit goin on with school n football
no go on the cliffnotes etc, none showin up
a friend of mine told me if i started with a bike with that kind of power i would kill myself?
your friend is right. lol. Its an R1, 1000cc's. Not to mention the HUGE rear sprocket on this particular bike, brings the front end up like nothing.
i rode a cbr 1000 the other day in the parking lot and it literally made me not want a bike anymore....its ridiculous the power they have. To pull out i didnt even have to give it throttle, i let the clutch out and it was going 10 or 15 right off the bat.
My dirtbike doesnt have close to the power of a bike like that but buying and riding it have helped me learn a ton, thats the main reason i got it.
Edit; what book are you looking for?

I had a lowly CBR900 (slow compared to today's literbikes) and it would scare the piss out of me when I rode it. I'm not claiming to be the world's #1 biker, but I rode many dirtbikes since I was 5 years old and had a VTR250 and CBR600F2 before the 900. If you get on the throttle too soon coming out of a corner, those literbikes will stand straight up (if you're lucky) or if your suspension ain't tuned just right, it'll headshake violently (if you don't know what this is, you shouldn't even think about a sportbike of any size) and almost put you on your ass fast.
They are really NO joke. If you must own a sportbike, find yourself a used 600cc to start out on. All the jap companies made a great 600 from about '99 on. Good Luck.
its not even really a book, its like a journal of these three guys lives that fled sudan so they wouldnt be killed, pretty good story, but at this point I'm just bs'ing my way through this paper.
as for the bike, I'm just interested in something that I can ride up and back to school, I'd like to throw a classic plate on my cobra to save on the insurance, so I'm just looking for sumthin good on gas, the other thing is that some people in the past had told me that i should look at a bigger bike because of my size (6'2/ 315), but obviously more cc's isnt necessarily the answer
how much, I'm not real serious now that its gettin closer to winter, but how much r u looking for?
around 5k. I am going to be honest and i only use this on the track. I could put the headlight and taillight and turn signals back on it, it does have a few scratches. Has some mods.
ya deff dont have that kind of cash right now, I'm hoping that I can get a decent job next summer and make enough to do a bunch of stuff to my car, n also maybe save up enough that I could make a monthly payment on a cheaper bike throughout the year, since i dont have time to do a job n school/football
haha, alright I'll keep that in mind
