There are a lot of expensive body parts on these cars too, so if something is messed up, and you plan to fix it... you might be in for a big surprise (the Gen 1 & 2 hoods were close to $15k .... unpainted iirc. They eliminated that outrageous part on the gen 3 fortunately)
Gen 1 & gen 2 have some body panel fitment issues. gen 3 (03-06) are a much much better car all around, and don't have a cabin heat problem as long as you replace the cat back on them
