I watched a documentary on it, they said that the areas where the housing projects are were bad before, but are even worse now, because the jobs arent there and therefore more people are dealing drugs, and they also said that it was an un written rule that the drug dealers would stay away from the main street, but since the hurricane a lot of their customers left town or were killed, and they realized that there is a lot of money to be made selling to the tourist, so they've been having shootings on main street which werent a problem before
