heck no thats what i drove a 3cylinder 5 speed...it takes like 2 miles to get into each gear....worst thing i ever drove in my life other than my mustang lol.....and i only drove the metro like a total of 8 miles

Although, while i was gone, i got lots of crap done...

The R1 got coolant swapped out for engine ice, smog removal, new plugs (which was the biggest PITA ever), a new set of Micron Serpent race headers, along with carbon fiber Micron exhaust canisters, and a Power Commander III USB ... :D bike felt incredible before, and even better now - the new exhaust setup makes an awesome difference in sound, not much louder, but better tone ... going down 79 last night, she started to pick the front end up at 120mph in 3rd gear and i wasn't even trying to... :D

eh, people started being asshats when someone else was just offering up help to anyone that wanted to buy the item... i defended that someone, and got the ban-stick...

Which honestly, i really didn't care, because I knew I wasn't supposed to be posting there, so i got what was coming - but what I don't understand is why I got the ban, and then 8 billion people that post random shit in the classifieds for the hell of it don't get banned anymore.... I notice, b/c it drives me insane, and i've wondered why they don't get banned... so that's why i was kinda surprised when i did, but not completely because i know you're not supposed to post there... but i wasn't gonna let these d-bags come around and attack a good guy because he was just trying to help.... although a few particular comments of mine MIGHT have been what put me over the edge

Actually - not reallly... I was very happy with the bike.. However, my decision to do the exhaust/PCIII came out of a bad luck bit from last summer...

When i was out on the bike once, the one exhaust canister clamp broke for my Scorpion exhaust.... So i had to rig something up to get it home... Well that scratched the shit outta teh canister... Since it was already scratched, i just left it that way - plus i couldnt get Scorpion to send me another clamp... it got all scratched up and i decided i wanted a new exhuast.... When looking for new slipons, i came across a KILLER deal on this set of race headers/carbon cans... so i bought 'em.... then it dawned on me that the bikes not going to run the best with headers and no re-tune... so i bided my time and found a killer deal on a PCIII.... Only thing i didn't do that I wanted to do was get a -1 front sprocket... hwoever, i really don't want my speedo to be off, so i may just leave it the way it is...

I have a piece that i'm going to buy... A good friend of my mom's owns 38 acres in westmoreland county and she is willing to sell me 2 acres of it. However, i've had hardcore issues with the sewer authority - i know i'm fighting a loosing battle, but i'm prepared to take it to the very end. There is public water/sewer available in the area, but "technically" its not available for this property - this is because the sewer runs under the road about 200 ft before my property (thats what i'm going to call it) and runs behind the houses down the road on the other side of the road... Well, they are willing to let me use the township right of way to go hook into the sewer, which is nice, but its also a pain in the butt... it appears that they're not going to let me go down under the road and hook in below. All i would need to do is buy a utility easement off of the owner on the other side of the road... The reason i want to go that way is becuase then i can gravity drain the sewage. If i go up the way they are making me do it, i have to put a grinder pump in, b/c its literally only 2 feet higher than the sewer elevation. There's nothing i can do, so i'm just going to get raped on that, and i'll just have to deal with it...

Now to what really fires me up. They want to charge me a $3600 tap in fee - which is outrageous in the first place ... at all the properties i looked at in Allegheny county, only Fox Chapel borough was more expensive... THEN, on top of the 3600 tap-in, they want to charge me another 2200+ as a "excalated" tap-in fee... Well, this sent me off - makes no sense to me at all... What it comes down to is that they don't want an investor coming in and putting a housing plan in... They just put the public sewage through the area 3 years ago, and they are spreading the cost over the residents on a 10 year amortization.... So back on the escalated fees, i said intriguingly to the supervisor, "so you're telling me that if someone moves in in 6 years (year 9 of the amortization), you're going to charge them like 12K to tap into the sewer"... (i was quite nice actually) ... he starts stumbling over his words and getting all pissed off at me saying "its policy, its the way it is... its just... its just the policy... think about it, it make sense... is it fair to allow a builder to come in an tap in to the sewer for the same price that everyone else paid 10 years ago?... its just the policy.. it makes sense, its the way it is".... So i was like "well, no it doesnt make sense to me. You're making me pay for sewer service when, not only did i not live here and use it, its technically not available to me - i have to go 300+ feet to tap into it"... he says "well, those fees are to cover inflation and ..." and he starts stumbling liek a ****in' idiot again....

Well, i've got a fight ahead of me, but i'm hell bent i'm going to find a way to get out of that extra 2200+ ... And if i don't get out of it, i'm going to go down fighting - they just expect me to lay over and give them all the cash they want... And another thought i have is.... his daughter is building a house on the same road about 1 mile down... i want to see proof that she has paid all these escalated fees... b/c i am willing to bet he's found a way to scam out of her paying all those fees...

ugh... worst part is, that's not even the half of it... i was super nice to this guy b/c i was told to stop by his house... so i didnt wanna argue at his house - i was very nice, very respectful, but just inquiring about a few things.... he got soooo pissy with me... Well, i can guarantee you that him and I are going to knock heads at a township meeting or two.... guaranteed!
