So, Wifey takes her car to the dealer for oil changes. Because, it's under warranty and if anything breaks, I want it on record that they (GM) performed all the maintenance.

The car has 20,xxx miles. It's had 7 (?) oil changes. Every Fu cking time she brings it home, it's OVERFILLED. The first time I looked in the manual. It clearly states 4.0 quarts for the 3.5L engine WITH an oil filter change. The receipts all say 4.5 or 5.0 quarts.

Wifey and I have had many debates over this. I say, "F uck it, run the sumbitch like you stole it. When it blows, they can replace it under warranty." She says, "Do we really want THEM putting a new engine in my car?"

She has a good point.

Today, I called the service manager and had a conversation with him about this. He was fairly nice about it, then he started to get an attitude.

I said, "Listen dude, I change the oil in all my personal vehicles. The only reason we come there is (in case) of the warranty work. My manual clearly states 4.0... why do you keep putting 4.5 or 5.0 in when my wife tells you it's overfilled?"

He said, "It should be OK. The next time you check it, if it's too high, just bring it right out and we'll POUR SOME OUT."

WTF? I just hung the phone up. My freaking old man works there and I'm ready to drive the muther fu cker straight through the showroom window.
